What is Ceramic Pro 9H Ceramic Coating?

What are the benefits of a Ceramic Pro Coating?
The Ceramic Pro coating will help prevent or significantly slow down the etching process from elements such as bird droppings, tree sap, dirt, tar and brake dust. A ceramic coated car has very slick and shiny paint as well scratch resistance. Ceramic Pro ceramic coatings will make your car stay looking new for longer and you will have the shiniest car on the road. Ceramic coated cars are also very hydrophobic, meaning that water will form beads and roll off very easily.
Is paint correction required prior to applying a Ceramic Pro ceramic coating?
It depends on two things. First, it depends on the condition of the car. If you have a used car then a paint correction is strongly recommended because it more than likely has swirl marks and clear coat scratches. For new cars, it depends on how the dealer maintained it. Some new cars come very clean with no swirl marks and others come with paint that looks 2 years old. Second, it depends on personal preference. Some customers do not care if their car has swirl marks while others want little to no swirls in their paint prior to Ceramic Pro application. In each case, we recommend a 2-3 step paint correction but it is not required for Ceramic Pro application. For this reason, all of our Ceramic Pro ceramic coating packages come with a complimentary 2 step paint correction to remove any minor swirl marks. We do this because in our opinion, the final result looks better when you polish the car vs when you do not.
